Nicola Alaimo
Video Editor & Audio Engineer | Founder of Nicola Productions

I am a digital content creator and original storyteller, specializing in post-production. I've owned an operated Nicola Productions since 2019, and currently work as a Junior Video Editor at EarthCam Inc.

One of the skills I value most is my ability to transform raw footage into a polished, compelling story. For me, editing is about finding the humanity in the material: understanding pacing, tension, and release, and crafting a narrative that resonates with people. Whether I’m shaping branded content, a documentary sequence, or a music video, I strive to make every project worth watching by leaning into that human touch.
I have owned and operated Nicola Productions since 2019, servicing a wide range of clients with customized promotional content, photography and videography. I have had the opportunity to work with brands such as BoarsHead, Target, WorkBrand and Villanova, along with varsity athletic teams and non-profit organizations.
As a production assistant for Circle 9 Music, I have worked alongside grammy-winning audio engineers, producers and musicians, immersing myself in high-level audio engineering, mixing and sound design.
At The College of New Jersey, I served as Lead Recording Studio Technician, Mayo Concert Hall Technician and President of AMPD. I also had the opportunity to teach assist music technology HS and college-level classes for 2 years.
I continue to independently write, record and release original music and short films. I have pioneered extensive projects like "Life We Lead" and "Tunes @ TCNJ" to develop my own artistry and continue applying new skills.
I recently earned my B.A. in Communications concentrated on Digital Filmmaking, with a minor in Music Technology. Today, I work as a Junior Video editor at EarthCam inc. and continue to build Nicola Productions.
